BALTIMORE (AP) — It's back to business today for the top three-year-old in horse racing. On tap is the Preakness, the second leg of the horse racing Triple Crown. Orb, the winner of the Kentucky Derby, is starting the race from the inside post position. The final race in the Triple Crown is the Belmont Stakes and that takes place in three weeks.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Game 6 in the New York-Indiana NBA playoff series is tonight in Indianapolis. The Knicks trail the series 3-2 and forced tonight's game with an 85-75 win Thursday night. The winner of the series will advance to the conference final against Miami.

UNDATED (AP) — The Los Angeles Kings are looking to take a 3-0 lead over San Jose in their Stanley Cup Western Conference semifinal. L.A. won the first game 2-0 and the second by the score of 4-3. Game 4 will be played in San Jose on Tuesday.

NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Yankees have pulled off a deal with the Colorado Rockies. The deal sends infielder Reid Brignac (BRIN'-yak) to the Yankees for cash. New York designated shortstop Alberto Gonzalez for assignment to make room for Brignac on the 40-man roster.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The start of qualifying for the Indianapolis 500 was pushed back today because of morning rain. Weather permitting, the pole will be determined today. The second day of qualifying is tomorrow for the May 26 race.
