BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — An LSU running back who rushed for a career high, a safety who moved to linebacker for McNeese State and a punter with a career game from Louisiana-Monroe have been named the Louisiana college Players of the Week by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Jeremy Hill rushed for 184 yards and three scores in LSU's 35-21 win over Auburn to earn Offensive POW honors, while Wallace Scott, moved from safety to linebacker last week at McNeese, took an interception back for a score in the Cowboys 43-6 win over Weber State to earn defensive honors.

Meanwhile, punter Justin Manton of ULM had a career long punt of 77 yards, in earning special teams honors.
