WACO, Texas (AP) — Baylor coach Kim Mulkey says two standout post players have signed national letters of intent to join the ninth-ranked Lady Bears next season.

Signing Wednesday to attend Baylor were Dekeiya Cohen, a 6-foot-2 power forward from South Carolina, and 6-3 post Micayla Buckner.

Mulkey says the players provide speed and athleticism at the post position.

Cohen averaged 26.7 points, 13 rebounds, 4.7 steals, 4.1 assists and 3.5 blocks last season as a junior at West Ashley High School in Charleston, S.C.

Bucker averaged 13.3 points and 12.2 rebounds for Naaman Forest High in Garland, Texas, as a junior last season.
