NEW YORK (AP) — Rookie Mason Plumlee scored a season-high 22 points and matched his best with 13 rebounds in a high-flying performance, and the Brooklyn Nets used their best defensive first half in eight years as the springboard for a 93-81 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Anthony Davis had 24 points for the Pelicans.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Jay Hook, who finished with 11 points, drilled a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left to help Tulane hold off Marshall 68-65 Sunday. The Green Wave shot 45.8 percent from the field and went 8 of 16 beyond the arc. Jonathan Stark had 17 points with six assists.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Courtney Walker scored 22 points and made a critical layup in the game's final minute as Texas A&M edged LSU 72-67 Sunday. With Texas A&M leading by a point, Walker made a layup with 54 seconds left to extend the Aggies' lead to 70-67.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) — Jerrold Brooks scored 19 points to lead Southern Miss to its seventh straight win with an 81-64 victory over Charlotte on Sunday. The win keeps Southern Miss tied with UTEP atop the conference standings, and snaps a 12-game losing streak against Charlotte.
