KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia (AP) — Maggie Voisin didn't travel all the way to Russia to let a fractured leg keep her from experiencing the Olympics.

The 15-year-old freestyle skier from Whitefish, Mont., won't be able to compete when slopestyle skiing makes its Olympic debut on Tuesday. She crashed during a practice run, breaking her fibula in her right leg. But the youngest member of Team USA still managed to walk during the Opening Ceremonies and she's not ready to go home yet.

She says she wants to enjoy the Olympic experience, including watching her teammates compete in the slopestyle skiing.

Voisin says she'll be back to compete in the next Winter Olympics.
