UNDATED (AP) — The third round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament gets underway this afternoon. The top-seeded Florida Gators look to advance to the Sweet 16 and run their school-record winning streak to 28 games when they take on Pittsburgh in Orlando.

UNDATED (AP) — Two of the regional top-seeds open play in the women's NCAA tournament today as Notre Dame plays Robert Morris and Tennessee takes on Northwestern State. The overall No. 1, Connecticut, starts play tomorrow.

UNDATED (AP) — The NBA's conference leaders are in action tonight as Indiana visits Memphis and San Antonio takes on the Warriors at Golden State. The Pacers lead the East by three games over Miami, and the Spurs are riding a 12-game winning streak that puts them atop the West by 1 ½ games over Oklahoma City. On the flip side is the Philadelphia 76ers, who will try to avoid their 24th consecutive loss when they face the Bulls in Chicago.

UNDATED (AP) — The San Jose Sharks have a chance to move into a tie with St. Louis for the NHL's Western Conference lead today. The Blues are in Philadelphia to take on the Flyers this afternoon before the Sharks host Washington. St. Louis leads the conference by two points over the Sharks, with Anaheim and Chicago just four points back.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Adam Scott has a commanding 7-stroke lead heading into the third round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Scott fired a 4-under 68 yesterday for a 14-under total, matching the lowest 36-hole score in tournament history. J.B. Holmes, Chesson Hadley and Francesco Molinari share second.
