MEXICO CITY (AP) — Pumas defeated Honduran club Marathon 6-1 on Thursday to complete an all-Mexican semifinals for the CONCACAF Champions league.
Toluca, Cruz Azul and Pachuca advanced to the semifinals earlier in the week. In the semifinals, Cruz Azul faces Pumas and Toluca plays Pachuca.
Ismael Iniguez and Francisco Palencia scored two goals each in Puma's win, advancing the club 6-3 on aggregate over the two-game series.
