Pelicans' Davis listed as probable for Monday's game, cleared of concussion diagnosis

NEW ORLEANS -- Anthony Davis' injury status is now listed as probable for Monday's game when the Pelicans play the Denver Nuggets.

In the third quarter of Friday's night game, Davis was hit in the face and pulled out of the game in compliance with the NBA's concussion protocol, the team said.

Saturday morning Davis was evaluated by league physicians, and diagnosed with a contusion of the orbit bone above his right eye and cleared of the concussion diagnosis, the team said.
