NEW ORLEANS - After a thrilling night in the Superdome, Final Four fans made their way home on Tuesday, making it a very busy morning at Armstrong International Airport.

The lines, although long, were moving quickly.

The 6 a.m. hour was the busiest, according to airport officials, due to 2,700 passengers leaving.

There were 11 extra flights and all were packed.

Whether the passengers were fans of Kentucky or Kansas, they were leaving happy that they came to New Orleans.

“I had a great time. Food was great. Couldn’t get any better,” said Thad Danhower, a Kentucky fan.

“I’m feeling good – had a great weekend, fun time in New Orleans. [Even though Kansas lost,] they were fun to watch this year,” said Mike Raymer, a Kansas fan.
