Drew Brees moves ahead of Tom Brady on all-time passing TD list

NEW ORLEANS -- Drew Brees moved ahead of Tom Brady on the NFL's career passing touchdown list Sunday.

Brees and Brady both began the seasn with 428 career touchdown passes, which tied them for third overall behind Payton Manning (539) and Brett Favre (508).

Brees' first touchdown of the night came on a 1-yard pass to Willie Snead on fourth-and-goal in the second quarter.

Brees would later connect with Brandin Cooks twice. Their first TD connection of the night was for 15-yards and their second would be a Saints-record breaking 98-yard strike.

Brees will most likely widen the gap between himself and Brady while New England's QB serves a four-game suspension.
