Lattimore, Crawley return to practice for Saints, Fleener sits out after scary hit

NEW ORLEANS – Saints cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley were back at practice, but limited, according to the Saints injury report released on Wednesday afternoon.

Lattimore has been out with an ankle injury, while Crawley has been out with an oblique strain. Both players missed last Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams, where the team's eight-game winning streak was broken by a 26-20 loss.

Other players who were listed back at practice, but limited are below:

T Ryan Ramczyk (elbow)

RB Trey Edmunds (shoulder)

DE Trey Hendrickson (elbow)

G Larry Warford (shoulder)

Players who did not practice at all, according to the injury report, are Terron Armstead who is out with injuries to his thigh and shoulder, Colby Fleener who sustained a concussion during Sunday's game, and Marcus Williams who is out with a groin injury.

Fleener took a helmet to helmet hit by Rams defensive back Blake Countess. Fleener was not taken out of the game until a few plays later. Coach Payton said there were no signs of symptoms immediately following the hit.

Another injury report will be released on Friday.

The Saints will face the Carolina Panthers, also 8-3, on Sunday in the Superdome. Kick-off is set for 3:25 p.m.
