The Saints also released two players including former LSU lineman Carnell Stewart.
Center Rob Hunt and guard Isaiah Ross were added to the Saints' roster on Tuesday, a little more than three weeks before training camp opens in Jackson, Miss.
Both the Saints and VooDoo are owned by Tom Benson.
Hunt, who is 6-foot-4, 301-pounds, played for North Dakota State and is a former fifth-round draft choice of the Indianapolis Colts in 2005. He spent the 2005 and 2006 seasons on the practice squad of the Denver Broncos and spent the 2007 preseason with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Hunt, who also plays guard, spent two seasons in NFL Europe with Rhein in 2006 and Berlin in 2007. His first AFL season was this year.
Ross, who is 6-3, 320, has spent the last two springs in the AFL. He was with the Nashville Kats in 2007.
In addition to his role as a blocker, Ross caught 14 passes for 140 yards and five touchdowns for the VooDoo this season. Ross, who played in college at Nevada, signed as a rookie free agent with the San Diego Chargers in 2004 and went on to start 10 games for the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europe in 2005.
To make room on the roster, the Saints waived Stewart and fellow offensive linemen Marquay Love.
