The Hornets take on the Washington Wizards on October 14 at the O2 World in Berlin, Germany. The game will be one of the first major sporting events held at the arena, which opened last fall. The team will close out NBA Europe Live on October 17 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain.

Last year's NBA Europe Live games drew more than 10.3 million viewers and 75,000 spectators.

Hornets owner George Shinn says it's an honor for the team to be included on the NBA Europe schedule and they're thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase they're talent on a world stage.

The preseason schedule also includes October games against the Warriors and the Indiana Pacers at the New Orleans Arena as well as an October 23 matchup against Miami in Mobile, Alabama.
