NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are searching for a man who threatened a cashier with a gun last month in the St.Roch area.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. on Nov. 14 in the 1800 block of Franklin Avenue.

According to police, the suspect paid the cashier for cigarettes and then became irate while waiting for his pack. He told the cashier to hurry up before eventually brandishing a handgun and telling him, 'What now? You gonna give me my change now?'

The suspect fled after receiving his change and cigarettes..

Police say the suspect's nickname is 'Money.' He's described as a black man, 19 to 23 years of age, 5'6' tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has a short dreadlocks. He was wearing a purple cap, a blue button-down long sleeve shirt and dark blue pants.
