HAMMOND, La. Suspects failed to steal an ATM Wednesday before the gas station's alarm went off, marking the fourth Hammond ATM burglary case within four months, police said.

The suspects used a stolen car to crash into an Exxon station's front doors at 1910 S Morrison Blvd at 3:30 a.m., according to the Hammond Police Department. Authorities said the details of case match those from the other cases.

The previous incidents include a burglary where two suspects stole ATMs from a small business June 26, when an ATM was taken from the Hammond Office of Motor Vehicles in June 13 and a third burglary incident at Ryan's Deli back in April.

Anyone with information regarding this burglary is urged to contact Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
