NEW ORLEANS Just hours after the search for a missing 15-year-old boy ended tragicallySaturday, New Orleans police arrested two teenage suspects in connection with what police are now officially calling a homicide.

Police arrested 17-year-olds Dennis Lewis and Dajuan Alridge around midnightSunday, hours after the victim's body was found. The two now face second-degree murder charges.

Friends and family members, who had been searching for 15-year-old James McKenzie since he went missing Monday, found the boy's body wrapped in plastic during a search in an abandoned home Saturday. The family was holding a prayer vigil while they passed out flyers and canvassed the neighborhood for McKenzie.

'We wore red to symbolize the blood shed in New Orleans-- all the young men who are dying,' said Freda Jones, McKenzie's aunt. 'We formed a prayer service and we got together and we did a neighborhood search.'

Police have still not identified the victim as McKenzie, though family members confirmed to Eyewitness News on Saturday that McKenzie was the victim.

Police haven't listed a motive in this crime.
