METAIRIE, La. Jacksonville quarterback Blaine Gabbert led the Jaguars to only 10 points against Carolina this past week in his first-ever NFL start.
Sunday, though, might be more difficult for Jacksonville (1-2), which averages 9.6 points per game the Saints (2-1) are putting up 34.6 points per game this season.
'All we can control is play-by-play,' Gabbert said Wednesday during a conference call with New Orleans media. 'We know they're going to put up points and we know our job is to score points. Our defense is going to do a tremendous job and it's going to be a great game.'
Jacksonville has scored only 29 points this season. That's total, not one game.
New Orleans, meanwhile, has scored 34, 30 and 40 points in its opening three games.
