As the run-up to the 2013 NFL season hits its stretch run 18 days and counting before training camp begins we thought at WWLTV.com it'd be a good time to get the blood flowing for Saints fans.

And what better way to do so than by looking back at some of the biggest or most impressive wins in the Sean Payton Era.

Certainly our order can be dissected and changed and a game we left off could be put on the list. Feel free to leave your thoughts or memories on the particular game chosen today below in the comments section.

No. 10: Saints handle Cowboys in '06
No. 9: Saints maul Falcons in '11
No. 8: Saints overcome deficit, Dolphins in '09
No. 7: Saints ride Deuce to playoff win in '06
No. 6: Saints gives Steelers nightmares on Halloween in '10

No. 4: The Payton Era finds its footing (Sept. 10 & 17, 2006)
Saints 19, Browns 14;
Saints 34, Packers 26
No one knew exactly what the 2006 Saints were going to look like. New coach. New quarterback. The memory of Katrina fresh in everyone's minds.

Sean Payton came to New Orleans as the hot-shot assistant coach who had never led a team before while Drew Brees entered the story as the quarterback few even would talk to because of shoulder surgery.

Also, as the '06 regular season got underway, New Orleans was coming off of a lackluster preseason in which it went 1-3 and never looked fully comfortable.

But Payton became only the second Saints coach ever to win his first game at the helm as the Saints never trailed the Browns. And with the win the following week over the Packers, the Saints began a season 2-0 with both wins on the road for the first time in franchise history.

It's hard to distinguish the two games separately, so we went with the combination. Because as impressive as the win over the Browns was under the circumstances, going to Lambeau Field the following week and beating Brett Favre there is just as impressive.

The Saints overcame a 13-0 deficit in Green Bay to win and this stretch early in Payton's tenure opened some eyes.
