NEW ORLEANS -- Two men are recovering from injuries sustained in a shooting in Treme early Sunday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The shooting happened in the 2200 block of St. Philip Street at about 2 a.m.

According to police, a 23-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 28-year-old man was shot in the lower back. Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Police haven't identified the victims, and they haven't named a suspect or a motive.
