ARABI, La. -- Two Arabi men arrested for drug and gun charges were literally caught on camera and on their own surveillance system.

St. Bernard Parish drug agents arrested 25-year-old Treyson Thedy, and 18-year-old Kevin Schmidt, Jr. last Wednesday.

The sheriff says when the drug agents served a warrant at the men's home in the 6500 block of Chartres Street, the men's surveillance cameras captured them running and hiding while also trying to throw out a large bag of marijuana.

Authorities later found $5,000 worth of marijuana, $3,000 worth of Xanax and two firearms.
