GULF SHORES, Ala. -- Gulf Shores Police have recovered the body of a juvenile believed to have drowned while at the beach Sunday.

Reports indicate the victim is a teenager from Ponchatoula, but police are leaving an identification to the coroner.

Seventeen-year-old Chaston Brown, of Ponchatoula, went missing after getting caught in a rip current Sunday afternoon and was pulled out to sea.

A dive team went into the water looking for Brown, but had to delay the search due to rip currents in the area Monday.
