NEWORLEANS-- With the Danziger trial entering its final stages, the NOPD is now scrutinizing officers who appeared as witnesses.

Chief Arlinda Westbrook, commander of the Public Integrity Bureau, said her office will review the statements of all officers for possible administrative violations. That includes two officers whose grand jury statements were read to the jury when the officers refused to testify.

Westbrook said at least on PIB investigator has been in court for all five weeks of trial testimony.

A similar investigation during the earlier trial involving the fatal police shooting of Henry Glover, six officers faced disciplinary action as a result of their statements.
