NEW ORLEANS Videos posted on YouTube are the subject of an internal investigation by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, launched after questions from Eyewitness News.

They feature a man identified as 3rd District JPSO Deputy Julius Cosey, brandishing a gun and wearing his badge.

In one of the videos, Cosey parodies a local law firm's television commercials, and pulls a gun from his pocket.

'If a (expletive deleted) breaks the law and hit your car, holla at your boy and we'll take his (expletive) to court right then and there.... We'll take (expletive) to court and he won't be so big,' the man says.

At that point, you can also see what appears to be a JPSO badge on his waist.

In the second clip, Cosey impersonates President Barack Obama at a re-election press conference. He answers fake questions about gas prices, Rush Limbaugh, immigration, the Middle East and the economy.

'How do I feel about the economy? I feel like now all the sudden that white people (are) broke, we got a problem. Deal with it!'

An email tip to 4 Investigates led Eyewitness News to ask Sheriff Newell Normand about the videos Tuesday morning.

'We're going to have an internal investigation, because what I view (online) leads me to believe that there are three or four questions that have to be answered,' Normand said.

'We're going to get to the bottom of it.'

Late Tuesday, Fortunato said that Cosey was questioned by JPSOinternal affairs officials, and admitted that he was the man in the video.

Fortunato said the investigation will determine whether the deputy could face disciplinary action.
