NEWORLEANS - Musician and small businessman Marlon Horton, a candidate for New Orleans City Council District B, said he got into the race to highlight some of the problems at city hall.

He said he was motivated to enter the race, in part, because of challenges he faced in opening his own restaurant.

Early voting in the race starts Tuesday at New Orleans City Hall, Algiers Courthouse and the voting machine warehouse.

It runs until October 30th and can be accessed at the local registrar of voters' office for other parishes.
