NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police have arrested one of the three suspects wanted in a Monday night murder in Algiers.
Police brought Bobby James, 20, into custody around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and booked him with second-degree murder.
James was wanted for the shooting death of an unidentified 35-year-old man who was killed around 9:45 p.m. at a home in the 6400 block of Brunswick Court.
Police say James and two other gunmen approached the victim as he walked outside his home and forced him back inside while demanding cash.
At some point the gunmen were startled by a family member returning home, and they shot the 35-year-old man several times, according to police. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The two other suspects haven't been identified.
