NEW ORLEANS -- The re-opening of Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre in the French Quarter has been delayed.
The theater has been shut down since last December when the theater's board sold part of the building to restaurateur Dickie Brennan for $3 million to save it from financial ruin.
Since then construction crews have been working to renovate the building.
The theater season was supposed to kickoff Jan. 8 with a production of Lombardi, but that's now been pushed back until September.
The new restaurant in the theater, called Tableau, is still expected to open next month.
