NEW ORLEANS -- Louisville and Florida fans are putting aside their rivalry, if only for a moment, to help give back to the city of New Orleans.

To thank the city for being such a great host, players, students and alumni came together Wednesday to help clean up the Lower Ninth Ward.

Students say the project is a way for both universities to help pay it forward.

'The game is just one thing. At the end of the day someone is going to take that trophy home, but at the end of the day it's all about helping this community rebuild,' said Louisville fan James King.

Kickoff for the Sugar Bowl is set for 7:30 p.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
