A former Lockport Middle School coach is accused of distributing meth, along with other crimes.

Eric Weaver, 37, 5681 La. 1, was arrested Friday after a months-long investigation by the Lafourche Parish Drug Task Force, agents said. Meth, pills and marijuana were found in the home, police said.

Jennifer Theriot, 31, 4898 La. 1, Raceland, Weaver's girlfriend is accused of principal to meth distribution.

Weaver most recently worked as a postal carrier in Lockport, but he was previously a coach at the school and owner of Ohana Fitness in Lockport.

A search of Weaver's home turned up 6.3 grams of meth, marijuana and prescription pills, agents said. They also allegedly found a handgun, assorted drug paraphernalia and $315 in cash.

Weaver is in the Lafourche Parish jail in lieu of bonds totaling $215,750. Theriot's bond is set at $10,000.
