BUSH, La. -- Louisiana State Police are on the lookout for a driver they believe led to a mother and her children driving off of a Northshore highway and landing in high river water.

State police pulled the car out of the Bogue Chitto five days after the incident happened on Hwy. 21 between Bush and Sun.

Troopers say when the family's car crashed into the high waters of the Bogue Chitto, a Good Samaritan helped them get out.

If you know anything that can help investigators, call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
