NEWORLEANS-- Police have arrested a man for an Algiers murder in February, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Anthony King, 28, was booked with first degree murder in the killing of Jerry Hooker, 21. Hooker was fatally shot on Feb. 27, in the 800 block of Belleville Street, according to police.

Police said King fatally shot Hooker during an argument.

King was previously arrested for first degree murder, illegal firearm during a crime, possession of crack, armed robbery, dog fighting, domestic violence, lewd conduct, trespassing, possession of a stolen vehicle, traffic, resisting a police officer and warrants.
