ABITA SPRINGS, La.- A pilot, practicing maneuvers in the Abita Springs area Wednesday morning, crashed the small plane he was flying.

First responders say the pilot walked away from the scene at the St. Tammany Regional Airport with just scratches on his forehead.Authorities say he was practicing a banner tow, when the plane stalled, slid off the runway and flipped over.The FAA was monitoring the pilot during the maneuver because of a similar crash last week.The agency is investigating this crash as well.
