NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are investigating a drive-by shooting at a Monday night pick-up football game in Algiers.

The shooting happened at about 6:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Southlawn.

NOPD spokesman Officer Frank Robertson said the victim, a 19-year-old man, was playing football when an unknown vehicle drove by and fired shots into the crowd.

The victim, who hasn't been identified, was grazed in the head by a stray bullet, Robertson said. He was last listed in good condition and was alert and talking on the scene.

Police are still working to determine a suspect and a motive.
