SLIDELL, La. -- Thanksgiving night two female workers were the victims of an armed robbery at a Burger King on Gause Boulevard, according to Slidell Police.
Around 7:30 p.m., the workers were in the back of the store cleaning when a gunmen came into the store and demanded money. 'The gunman forced the two employees to open the cash register, who took an undisclosed amount of cash. After obtaining the money, the gunmen fled out of the store and ran off in an undetermined direction,' said Slidell Police.
The robber, according to police, is described to be an African American male, in his late 20s to early 30s, average build, 5-feet-8, wearing dark clothing, and with gold teeth. His handgun was a black semi-automatic pistol.
