NEWORLEANS - Two men were shot and a man and women were injured from broken glass after a man opened fire on a car on Franklin Avenue.

Just before 9 a.m., the four people were in a vehicle at a business near the intersection of Franklin Avenue and North Robertson Street. The driver was backing out of a parking spot, according to police, when a gunman approached and began shooting at the vehicle.

Two men were shot -- one victim was hit in the head and the other was struck in the arm -- and two other people inside the vehicle, a man and woman, suffered injuries from broken glass.

Of the two men shot, the man hit in the head is in critical condition and the man shot in the arm is in stable condition.
