NEWORLEANS-- A man is in critical condition after a shooting Monday night in Algiers, according to the New Orleans Police Deparment.

It happened at about 9:15 p.m. in the 6000 block of Tullis Drive.

Police say a 19-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and back. He is in the hospital in critical condition.

Police haven't named a suspect or a motive.
