HOUMA, La. A 48-year-old man stabbed an employee of a Houma detail shop after an argument and then drove off from the scene with his wife on Monday, according to Houma Police.

The police said that officers received a call about 12:15 p.m. Monday about a stabbing at the Get Your Shine On Detail Shop in the 1500 block of Tunnel Blvd.

Officers said that Randal Williams got into an argument over money with a 50-year-old employee and stabbed him several times in the neck before leaving the scene in a car driven by his wife, 48-year-old Brigette Williams.

Police said they located Brigette Williams in the 400 block of Louise Street and took her into custody on being a principal to attempted second-degree murder. A short time later they located Randal Williams, who was arrested for attempted second-degree murder.

Both were transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex to be booked on the aforementioned charges.

The 50-year-old victim in the incident remains at a local medical center in the Intensive Care Unit being treated for severe lacerations to the neck area.
