NEWORLEANS-- When he was at his best, Skyler Green could make tacklers miss in a phone booth. There aren't many phone booths left any more, but despite his recent inactivity, Green is still around.

And on Monday, the VooDoo signed the former Higgins Hurricane and LSU wide receiver and kick returner.

The VooDoo is bringing up the rear in the South Division with a 2-9 record and will next host Jacksonville on Friday night.

Green, who has spent time with the Cowboys, Saints, and Bengals, was the SEC special teams player of the year in 2005, his final year in Baton Rouge.
