METAIRIE, La. ― Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer has popped up as a candidate that the St. Louis Rams will interview for the head coaching opening, a report said Wednesday.

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch identified Kromer, 44, as one of two more names with interviews set up for the position.

The Saints had not comment on whether Kromer has been requested for an interview.

Kromer has been with the Saints for four years, working with both the running backs and the offensive line. He started in 2008 with the running backs, taking over the offensive line when Doug Marrone left to become head coach at Syracuse.
