NEWORLEANS - Three New Orleans families were welcomed into their new homes on Monday by members of the New Orleans Saints.

Roman Harper, Jahri Evans, Malcolm Jenkins, Lance Moore and former Saint Darren Sharper surprised the families with the funding needed to complete the restoration of their Katrina-damaged homes.

'This is a very unique story...we were fortunate to learn from Jahari Evans, of our world champion New Orleans Saints, that he was going to help them rebuild their home. This is our opportunity for everybody to get together and welcome them back,' said Michael Williamson from the United Way of Greater New Orleans.

The players, some who were out of town, taking a break after OTAs, came back for the ceremony.

'These guys are committed in helping us into the future, too. These are great guys...amazing example of what it's like to have people who care,' Williamson said.

The ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
