A cold upper level low will be moving over southwest Mississippi and southeast Louisiana around daybreak Thursday morning. Most of the moisture will be east of the area by that time.
There is a small possibility of some of the light rain or drizzle to be mixed with sleet or even flurries far north of the lake around SW MS, northern Tangipahoa, and Washington parish. North of Interstate-12 could see some sleet pellets or even a flurry.
However, little to no accumulations are expected at this time and no travel problems are expected as far as icy roads. The ground has been warm for days, warm as above freezing.
South of the lake is expected to remain all liquid, but if a sleet pellet falls, it wouldn't be surprising. Morning lows at this time will be around 31 degrees around McComb and mid 30s along I-12. South of the lake should be mid to upper 30s for lows.
