NEWORLEANS - New developments in the search for Terrilynn Monette, the missing Jefferson Parish teacher, arose on Tuesday.

New Orleans police said Equusearch, an organization that specializes in search operations, should be arriving in New Orleans Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.

Police said Equusearch will be combing the lagoons in City Park.

They believe that would most likely be Monette's path of travel to her apartment from Parlay's bar in Lakeview.

The NOPD said it is following up on hotline tips and it has officers looking for the woman's car while on patrol.
