NEW ORLEANS -- Contractors working on that massive sinkhole in Assumption Parish have now discovered possibly flammable gas under two nearby homes.

But right now parish officials say the air monitors haven't picked up dangerous levels of gas in the homes, indicating the gas is not getting through the slabs.

Meanwhile, work near the sinkhole is once again on hold due to more tremors.

There's no word yet on when crews will be able to get back to work. An evacuation order for the area is also still in effect.
