NEW ORLEANS -- Beginning Wednesday, Mid-City residents will have a new place to do their grocery shopping.

Winn-Dixie, the anchor store in the new Mid-City Market shopping center, will officially open its doors Wednesday.

The new complex will also have 14 stores. Some of them include Office Depot, Panera Bread, Felipe's Taqueria and Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

The shopping center was built on the site of the former Bohn Ford dealership, which was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.
