METAIRIE, La. Saints defensive end Junior Galette pondered why a fan jumped the barricades Friday at New Orleans training camp and worked his way towards the team and it's precisely the reason you likely came up with yourself.

'I didn't get to see it but the guy didn't even make it to the field so we've got some tight security out here,' Galette said. 'Fans, I guess, drinking and it's hot out here. I don't what was going through his head. He just had too much booze

David Mobley, 59, of Houma, approached the team towards the end of practice before a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office detail ran over, stopping him before trying to escort him off the field.

That's when things got physical.

According to JPSO Col. John Fortunato, 'Mobley became combative and following a brief struggle was placed under arrest.'

Mobley was booked into the JPCC and charged with one count each of remaining after forbidden and resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.

'It has been awhile since I can recall. Just looking over, I didn't realize who it was,' Saints coach Sean Payton said. 'Saw a tussle from a distance and security did a good job of getting him off.'
