NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police have released surveillance images and a description of a man wanted for an armed robbery that happened Sunday.

It happened at about 10:30 p.m. in the 500 block of S. Jeff Davis Parkway.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, the man walked into a business, and after learning the kitchen was closed, he pointed a gun at the bartender and demanded money. He fled with an unreleased amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black man with a dark complexion, 5'8' to 5'11' tall and he had a beard and mustache. He was about 24 years old and had a black, rusted revolver. He was wearing a dark colored hooded jacket with white writing on the front and a black and red Chicago Bulls hat. He had tan shorts.
