Saints safety Rafael Bush was fined by the league $21,000 for his hit on Seattle receiver Percy Harvin in New Orleans' 23-15 playoff loss this past Saturday, the league said Friday.

Harvin left the game before returning after going through the league's concussion protocol. He later left for good when he fell hard on an incomplete pass in the second quarter.

Harvin was officially listed as out for Sunday's NFC championship game against San Francisco after he failed to pass concussion tests this week.

Bush earned $23,000, an amount set by the CBA, for the Saints' playoff game at Seattle. He earned $23,000 for their wild card win over Philadelphia.

The hit on Harvin came on Seattle's third offensive play of the game. Bush sprinted to his right and leaned in with his shoulder, blasting the receiver to the ground.

The play drew a flag, which kept alive the drive, one that ended with Seattle taking a 3-0 lead on a Steven Hauschka field goal.
