MARRERO, La. -- A 16-year-old boy who doctors briefly managed to revive from death after a shooting in Marrero died Tuesday. A day later, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office identified a suspect.

The shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Martin Drive.

According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, Stefan Johnson was taken to University Hospital and was revived, but he eventually died around 4:30 p.m.

Joharri Walker, 19, of Marrero, was identified as a suspect by the sheriff's office. He wanted for one count of second-degree murder.
