NEWORLEANS- A 21-year-old man received an 85-year sentence in exchange for pleading guilty for his role in the execution-style killing of a man parked in an Algiers strip mall parking lot in 2012, the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.

Marke Simmons, 21, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and armed robbery charges in the killing of Fernando Eyzaguirre outside of an Anytime Fitness store in the 5100 block of General De Gaulle on November 11, 2012.

Earlier this year, Milton Wilson was convicted of second-degree murder and is scheduled to receive an automatic life sentence Friday.

Erin Doucet, who was the alleged getaway driver, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and armed robbery and received a 25-year sentence.

The District Attorney's Office also said that in early 2014, Jaroid Washington pleaded guilty to manslaughter and armed robbery in exchange for a 23-year sentence. Washington however, refused to testify in one of the related trials and the district attorney's office said it would seek a re-sentencing.

'These defendants destroyed a family,'said District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro. 'Their crimes are unforgivable. It is my hope that three of these defendants will never spend another day of their life outside of a prison.'
