NEW ORLEANS The New Orleans Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of two unidentified males and the shooting of an 18-year-old male.

The shooting occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Edith Weston Place in the Desire neighborhood.

According to NOPD, officers responded to a call of shots fired and upon their arrival, officers located the victims in a red four-door Jaguar, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The two males were pronounced dead on the scene and are not being identified until their families have been notified.

The third male, an 18-year-old, was shot in the leg and was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible in this incident, as well as a motive.
