NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of an USAgencies caught on camera.

Police are hoping new surveillance video from the USAgencies in the 3500 block of S. Carrollton Ave. will help catch the robber.

Police said a little after 9 a.m., the victim of the armed robbery was forced at gunpoint to give the robber money. The victim agreed, was forced into a bathroom, and then the robber fled the USAgencies.

Police described the robber asa black male wearing a gray or black in hoodie-style jacket, an orange colored safety vest, red shoes and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

Police also released photos of the robber's car used in the armed robbery. It's a four door vehicle.
